What type of style/size of banner flag should I choose?
The style of banner you choose is really up to personal preference. Consider the location of your banner flag carefully when deciding on the size of your banner flag. The larger the banner the more eyes it will catch. Below is a chart of the styles and sizes currently available at Great Value Banner Shop.
Great Value Flag Shop makes it very affordable to swap out your flags. We encourage you to try different styles and images of flags to keep things fresh and help you promote your current campaigns. Also remember your flags can be a first impression for your business, ensure you keep them in good shape. Additional flag replacements are available at a fraction of the cost.
How long does a banner flag last?
Your banner flag should last between 6-12 months of outdoor conditions, often longer. Dirt, being buried in snow, and extreme wind conditions will reduce the life span of a particular flag. If your flag becomes damaged it should be taken down immediately and repaired. We recommend purchasing an additional flag which will allow you to swap out your flags for cleaning and repairs. Our poles are very sturdy. If a pole does become damaged by weather conditions replacements are available at a resonable price. Great Value Flags also has periodic specials on replacement flags. What is my banner flag going to be made of?
All of our banner flags are custom digital printed full color dye sublimation printed on 100% Polyester. The poles are easy to assemble and provides the optimum amount strength and flexibility.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of single sided and double sided printing?
Single sided printing is the most cost effective way to have your banner produced. The flag banner consists of a single layer of 100% polyester with printing on one side. Single sided flags tend to be more transparent allowing more light through. Banners with single sided printing have the desired printing on one side. The other side will display a faded version of its mirror image.
A double sided flag banner consists of three layers. Two printed outside layers with a light grey lining in the middle. This creates the ability to have the desired image on both sides. Colors can look more vibrant as the flag is not as transparent as a single sided flag banner. Double sided flag banners are heavier and the wind does not pass through as easily as a single sided flag.
What is your return policy / warranty?
Please inspect your banners as soon as your receive them. If you have an defective item please contact Great Value Flag Shop and we will do all we can to make it right. There are no refunds on custom printed items unless a defect is noted. We will work with you (during the design and proofing stage) to ensure your artwork and color requirements are submitted to your satisfaction. Our goal is always your 100% satisfaction. Non-custom print items can be returned unused for a full refund (excluding shipping) within 30 days contact Great Value Flags for a return authorization number. Wind damage is not covered under warranty.
QUESTION ABOUT THE GRAPHICS DESIGN AND ARTWORK PROCESS:
Can I provide my own artwork?
Yes, you can definitely supply your own artwork. Many products already have links for templates to download in their description. Anytime before or after your purchase you can provide your artwork to us via email to email@example.com. For larger artwork files please contact us so we can collaborate on the best way to transfer the art. Once recieved we will review your artwork and make sure it is ready for large digital print. Here are some tips for your artwork:
- File types accepted are .PDF, .EPS, high resolution .JPEG, and .AI.
- Outline all of your fonts for .PDF, .EPS and .AI files
- link artwork to you files.
- Art should be submitted in 4 color CYMK for printing not RGB
- Be aware that the colors represented on your monitor are not always what is produced in print. The best way to get close to a specific color is to provide a pantone or CYMK values you are confident. Spec samples can be ordered prior to large orders. This will likely increase the overall production time though.
- Check your proofs carefully. We will review your art but will not be held responsible for errors after they are signed off as approved by the customer.
- We are here to support you and help you get your artwork created. Please reach out to us if you have questions. We will not charge for minor adjustments.
- You will be supplied with various methods to supply your art after your purchase via email.
I would like Great Value Flags to create my artwork. How does it work?
Once you have placed your order we will contact you to determine your artwork requirements. For select products such as feather flags, setup and design work is complementary. For other products graphics design service is available. Occasionally stock photo’s or images may wish to be purchased for use on banners. These can be purchased and supplied by you or purchased by us and and invoice you. Once you are 100% satisfied with the artwork we have produced we will send you a proof for approval. Once you have signed off on the proof your order will be produced and shipped to you.

Other Products – $35/hr design services charge (charged by 15 min increments). Accurate quotes can be provided.

How long will it take for my banners to arrive?
Great Value Banners does not guarantee a specific delivery time or date for delivery. We can provide a fair estimation based on the size or your order and your location in Canada. As a general rule you can expect your shipment between 10-15 business days from the day you approve your proof. We will keep you updated on in regards to the production and shipping of you banners. Great Value Banner Shop requires a physical address to deliver you banners to. We unfortunately cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.
Rush orders can be completed at an addition rush fee and can be delivered between 6-9 business days depending on your location in Canada. Please call for details/quotes on rush orders.
